Prossime Lezioni di 'Disegno di Cittá' e 'Disegno di Animali'/Upcoming 'City Sketching' and 'Animal Drawing' Lessons

vi volevo comunicare che sará una lezione di 'Disegno in Cittá' questo sabato, il 24 luglio, dalle 10.00 alle 12.30 al Giardino dei Giusti, Via Trento 3. Ecco la mappa:

Porta pure qualsiasi materiale che ti piace usare...carta, matite, acquerelli, carboncino, ecc... La lezione costa 20euro a
persona, e come sempre non é necessaria nessuna esperienza precedente di disegno ed é aperta a tutte le etá.
Se conosce altri a cui questa lezione potrebbe interessare, portateli pure! Grazie e ci vediamo sabato. La seguente
lezione di 'City Sketching' sará sabato, il 18 settembre (saltiamo agosto)...posto verrá communicato piú tardi...

La prossima lezione di 'Disegno di Animali' sará il 4 settembre (saltiamo agosto) al museo La Specola, dalle 14.00 alle 16.30 e disegneremo le scimmie!! Spero di vedervi tutti li!!!!

I wanted to let you know that there will be a 'City Sketching' lesson this Saturday, July 24th, from 10am to 12:30pm at Giardino dei Giusti, located at Via Trento, 3. Here is the map:

Feel free to bring any materials you would like to use...paper, pencils, charcoal, watercolors, etc... The lesson cost is 20euro per student, and as always no previous drawing experience is needed, and the lessons are open to all ages. If you know of others who might be interested in participating, please bring them along! Thanks and see you all soon. The following 'City Sketching' lesson will be on Saturday, September 18th (we will skip August)...location TBA.

The next 'Animal Drawing' lesson will be on Saturday, September 4th at La Specola museum, from 2pm until 4:30pm, and we will be
drawing the monkeys!!! Hope to see you all there!!!!

Recently I had the pleasure of doing a lesson with a guest of Riva Loft (www.rivalofts.com).
Hervé is an interior designer from France. We enjoyed spending two hours drawing architecture in Piazza Signoria, sometimes running for cover when it started to rain a bit. I really enjoyed my short time with Hervé and look forward to spending more time drawing together. Here is his comment about our lesson together:
"Merci Mike pour ces quelques heures de cours passées sur la Piazza Della Segnoria, au milieu des touristes dubitatifs ;
j'ai eu le sentiment d'être l'un de ces étudiants faisant son initiation artistique au 19e siècle.
Les quelques astuces que tu m'as enseigné me permettent maintenant de me sentir plus à l'aise pour me lancer dans de nouveaux croquis à travers le monde. J'espère avoir l'occasion de revenir à Firenze bientôt pour une nouvelle leçon, sur l'aquarelle cette fois. A très bientôt et encore merci.

July 3rd Animal Drawing lesson/Lezione di Disegno di Animali di 3 Luglio

Even though it was quite hot inside the La Specola museum, we have a fun time drawing birds and other animals. Thank you to everyone for attending and making it a great time! Here are some comments from the students...

Sebbene che faceva troppo caldo all'interno del museo La Specola, ci siamo divertiti a disegnare gli uccelli ed altri animali. Grazie a tutto per aver partecipato e per averlo reso un gran diversione! Ecco qualche commenti dai studenti...
